Mobile Tracked Crushing and Screening Plant

On the screen the mobile tracked crushing and screening plant is seen relocating on its own tracks. Without a crane or a tractor unit, the machine moves inside the quarry under the operator's control and is brought into production position once it reaches the new working point.

After positioning is completed the camera turns to the feed hopper; the material discharged by the excavator passes through the vibrating feeder and descends to the crusher. Thanks to the wide contact surface of the tracked chassis, it is noticeable that the machine stands firm on loose ground without sinking and does not shift position despite the vibration during operation.

At the belt discharge the product accumulates as a cone.

The flexibility provided by the tracked system is the ability to bring the plant closer to the material as the quarry face advances. In this way the distance covered by the excavator and the trucks gets shorter, and fuel consumption and cycle time fall in the same proportion.

On frequently moved machines, tracks, drives and belt scrapers wear out faster. That is why, when the site plan is made, periodic maintenance and spare part stock are set up together with the relocation programme.
