The footage conveys the way the GNR M-DMK03 mobile crushing, screening and washing plant combines crushing and washing on the same line. The recording opens with the run-of-mine in the hopper and then moves on to the section where the crushed material is directed to the washing unit.
In the washing section, the water being sprayed onto the material and the clay and soil load separating on the screen decks can be seen with the naked eye. The colour of the product leaving the belts becomes markedly lighter; the arrangement in which clean aggregate and muddy water are discharged through separate lines explains how the system has been designed.
Finally the camera scans the stockpile area.
Aggregate freed of clay being usable directly in concrete and asphalt production is the most concrete gain of a washing line. Solving crushing and washing on a single chassis, as in the video, removes the obligation to haul between separate plants.
Because screen meshes and spray nozzles wear out faster in washing operation, maintenance intervals get shorter. For that reason, protecting the efficiency of the line becomes directly linked to regular spare part planning.
