GNR ME2060 – Fully Automatic Mobile Screening Plant with Grizzly Hopper

Built for operators who want to handle screening in a high-tonnage quarry or riverbed with a single, quickly installed unit, the GNR ME2060 is our latest-generation fully automatic mobile screening plant, processing 200-350 tonnes per hour. Thanks to its 2000×6000 mm triple-deck vibrating screen, 20 m³ feed hopper and the 100 mm grizzly above the hopper, run-of-mine material is split into 4 fractions in one pass, while oversize rock is separated and bypassed right at the first stage. A twin-axle mobile chassis, remote control and a fan-cooled electrical panel come as standard. The plant is designed for dry screening and has no washing unit.
How Does the Plant Work?
Material passes through three stages: feeding, pre-scalping and multi-deck screening.
- Feeding: the 20 m³ hopper can be loaded straight from a truck or a wheel loader.
- Grizzly pre-scalping: the 100 mm grizzly on the hopper takes out oversize rock before it reaches the screen, protecting the decks.
- Main belt: the 800 mm wide main feed belt carries material up to the triple-deck screen.
- Triple-deck screen: the 2000×6000 mm (12 m²) screen makes 3 successive cuts and divides the material into 4 fractions.
- Stockpile belts: each separated fraction goes to its own stockpile on its own belt.
Good to know: a capacity drop of about 10% on each lower deck is normal, and the bed depth at the discharge end should stay below 3-4 times the aperture.

Applications and Material
The ME2060 is suited to pre-screening ahead of a primary jaw or impact crusher, sand-and-gravel preparation in riverbeds, aggregate supply to concrete batching plants and high-tonnage quarries. Its large hopper lets trucks tip directly into the plant. It operates dry: the ME series stands for dry (no-wash) screening, while the YM series means a washing screen with screw washing. If clayey or moist material has to be washed, the YM series is the right choice.
ME1650 vs ME2060 Compared
| GNR ME1650 | GNR ME2060 | |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 120-180 tph | 200-350 tph |
| Screen size | ~1600×5000 mm | 2000×6000 mm, triple-deck |
| Hopper grizzly | — | 100 mm (yes) |
| Automation | Standard | Full automation + remote control |
Both models screen dry; the ME2060 stands out with a bigger screen, roughly twice the capacity and a grizzly over the hopper.
Wear and Total Cost of Ownership
When judging total cost of ownership, the figure to watch is not the part price but the cost per tonne: part price, replacement frequency and downtime are counted together. Screen media is designed for easy changing, and grizzly pre-scalping stops oversize rock from landing on the deck, which extends the life of both screen media and belts. The fan-cooled panel, meanwhile, protects the electrics on hot sites.
Turnkey Plant Solution
We offer the crushing, screening and washing line together with a concrete batching plant from a single supplier. The ME2060 screening plant can be engineered as one integrated line with primary/secondary crushers, washers and a batching plant, giving you one point of contact, one accountable party and a spare-parts chain that fits together.
GNR ME2060 – Frequently Asked Questions
What capacity does the GNR ME2060 have?
The plant processes 200-350 tonnes per hour. It accepts 0-100 mm feed and divides material into 4 fractions with its 2000×6000 mm triple-deck screen.
Can it work on a site without mains power?
Yes. The ME2060 runs on mains electricity or a generator; on quarries and job sites without a grid connection, a generator is sufficient.
How long do installation and commissioning take?
The plant sits on a twin-axle mobile chassis whose rear axle helps with manoeuvring, and it is designed to be moved to site and put into service quickly. The exact time depends on site and ground conditions.
What does it screen, and does it wash clay?
The ME2060 is a dry screening plant; it sizes sand and gravel and crushed aggregate, but does not wash. If clayey or moist material needs washing, go for the YM series with a washing screen and screw.
