Mobile Crushing Plant / Northern Iraq

In this footage from Northern Iraq, a mobile crushing and screening plant was recorded while working in the quarry area. The camera circles around the line positioned in the open area; the section where trucks are loading from the stockpile cones is in the same shot.

On a line working in a dry and dusty climate, the early separation of fine material by the feeder grizzly reduces the unnecessary load on the crusher, and this separation is clearly observed in the images. The difference in grain size of the products discharged from the screen decks can be told apart even from the surface texture of the cones.

The loader is in constant movement among the stockpiles.

In sites of this kind, erecting the plant close to the quarry face directly reduces the largest item of transport cost. The layout in the video was planned to keep the feeding distance short while still preserving enough area for truck manoeuvring.

In cross-border projects, the continuity of service and parts supply becomes as important as the machine itself. To avoid stopping the line during long-term production, keeping wear parts ready on site is preferred.
