Turab Expo Istanbul: Meeting Arab Buyers at the 7th Turkish-Arab Construction Fair

The 7th Turkish-Arab Building and Construction Fair, organised by Turab Expo in Istanbul, is now successfully behind us. We sincerely thank every visitor who came to our stand and spent time with us throughout the fair.

What distinguishes this event from others is that it does not resemble a conventional exhibition. One-to-one business meetings and buyer delegations sit at the heart of the programme; visitors come by appointment and, by the time they sit down, they know exactly what they want.

The flow of the meetings follows this structure.

The company introduction takes only a few minutes, after which the talk turns directly to the technical specification and delivery terms. For buyers coming from Arab countries, two points usually weigh most in the decision: how long shipping will take and how much support will be provided during erection.

When crushing and screening lines are on the table, the questions open with the quarry analysis. Buyers are well aware that a capacity figure quoted without knowing the hardness of the rock and the size distribution of the run-of-mine material will not be matched on site.
