Closing Day at Batimatec 2023 in Algeria: Every Question Came Back to the Rock

We have reached the closing day of the 25th BATIMATEC International Building and Construction Fair in Algeria, and our stand stayed full right to the end. We sincerely thank every visitor who joined us and stopped by our stand during these busy days.

At a fair, the day when technical details are really discussed is usually the final one. While introductions and general information sharing dominate the opening days, capacity figures and delivery times enter the conversation as the close approaches.

And almost every discussion arrives at the same question: what stone is in the quarry?

The hardness and abrasiveness of the rock decide which crusher should be chosen. On soft stone such as limestone, an impact crusher does efficient work, whereas on basalt and granite a cone crusher placed after the jaw crusher keeps its parts for far longer. The cost per tonne shifts along with that choice.

BATIMATEC is organised every year by Batimatec Expo together with the SAFEX group and Algeria Exhibitions; the event's venue is the Palais des Expositions in the city of Algiers.
