Crusher Bucket (Excavator Jaw Crusher)

The crusher bucket is a hydraulic jaw crusher bucket mounted on an excavator; it crushes concrete, rubble, stone and construction waste on site into fill/aggregate. It is an economical, mobile solution for on-site recycling and small-to-medium crushing without hauling to a separate plant.

Working principle

A hydraulically driven jaw inside the bucket, powered by the excavator's hydraulics, compresses and breaks material and discharges it at the set opening. Stage: primary (on site).

Material and application

Suitable: concrete/C&D recycling, rubble, brick, natural stone and on-site fill production. The jaw (compression) principle gives medium-to-high hardness tolerance. Note: jaws should be manganese for tramp iron (rebar); for very high tonnage/continuous production a fixed plant is more economical (the bucket suits low-to-medium volume and hard-to-reach sites).

Wear parts and TCO

Jaw plates are manganese steel (tramp iron tolerance). TCO advantage: it eliminates haulage and a separate crusher/operator cost; the excavator is already on site. Metric: cost per m³ including haulage savings.
