General Makina - Stone Crushing, Screening and Concrete Plants Manufacturing Site

This shot does not enter a quarry but the manufacturing site where stone crushing and screening plants and concrete batching plants are produced. Moving from one end of the enclosed production area to the other, the camera shows the stages the manufacturing passes through.

In the images it is observed how the steel plates leaving the cutting bench turn into chassis structures, how the bodies are joined at the welding stations and how they are put through surface preparation before being taken to the paint shop. Crusher bodies, screen frames, belt chassis and concrete plant silos are seen being manufactured at the same time on different lines; semi-finished parts are kept waiting in numbered areas.

Every product group has its own assembly line.

Gathering production under a single roof ensures that every part of the plant going out to the field passes through the same quality control. The dimensional differences and fluctuations in welding quality often seen in externally supplied bodies are thus eliminated; during assembly the parts fit at the first attempt.

The same manufacturing discipline applies not only to the main bodies but also to the production of the wear parts that are regularly renewed in the field.
