The recording shows the final preparations of the 500 tonne/hour capacity jaw crusher before export. As the camera circles the body brought out into the factory yard, the size of the machine becomes apparent when compared with the personnel standing beside it.

In the footage the mouth opening where the jaw plates seat, the eccentric shaft bearings and the ground surfaces of the weld seams can be followed clearly. The moment the body is lifted for loading, how the lifting lugs and the chassis reinforcements are positioned can also be observed.

These details are not randomly chosen manufacturing preferences.

At the primary stage the run-of-mine material reaching the crusher transmits the impact loads directly to the body; that is why the mouth geometry and the body reinforcements determine whether the capacity will really be met on site. The thick-section chassis seen in the video is designed to limit vibration at full load.
