150 TPH CAPACITY BASALT CRUSHING & SCREENING PLANT

The 90 series stationary crusher plant installed in Somalia is shown in the recording with the entire line in operation. The camera moves first to the mouth of the hopper where feeding takes place, then towards the crusher and the screen decks seated on the steel structure.

In the footage it can clearly be followed how the run-of-mine material passes through the vibrating feeder, how the fine fraction dropping through the grizzly bars is separated and how the coarse pieces are directed to the jaw crusher. The material leaving the crusher is carried to the screen by belt; the fractions separated by the screen decks are discharged into separate stockpile cones and a neat pile forms under each cone.

The low level of dust on site is striking.

This arrangement shows that erection is not merely a matter of placing machines: belt angles, drop heights and stockpile distances have been calculated so that the material does not segregate. The fact that the cones stand apart without mixing is the clearest field evidence that the screen apertures were chosen correctly and that the line is fed in a balanced way.

On lines erected in remote geographies, the real factor determining continuity is the timely renewal of wearing surfaces; for this reason crusher plant spare parts such as jaws, liners and screen meshes are planned as early as the installation stage.
