Hard Rock Crushing and Screening Plant Shipped to Cameroon

The 60 crushing plant we have dispatched to our customer in Cameroon was built to crush the hardest stone. Drawing its power from a primary jaw crusher, a secondary cone crusher and a vertical shaft crusher, this plant works on hard abrasive rock such as basalt and granite.

The order of the three crushers is not arbitrary. The jaw stage crushes coarse feed material by compression, the cone crusher reduces it further in the secondary stage on the same compression principle, and the vertical shaft stage shapes the grain at the very end.

The reason impact crushers are not used on hard stone is cost.

On abrasive rock such as basalt and granite the impact elements are consumed quickly; jaw and cone bodies working by compression last longer on the same material. While doing that, the cone crusher also delivers a cubical product, so shape quality is not sacrificed.

On sites such as Cameroon, where spare part logistics take a long time, this choice translates directly into downtime — fewer part changes, less waiting.
