We Have Completed the International Block Marble Fair

As GENERAL MAKINA we presented our marble crushing and screening plants first of all, together with the various stone crushing and screening machines and concrete batching plants that we manufacture and export.

On the crushing side, marble is a material of its own: when pieces from block cutting and quarry waste are recovered, both dust control and the brittleness of the grain have to be taken into account. When the line is designed, the crusher type is chosen according to these two headings.

A marble quarry does not move.

For operations that will stay on the same site for years, a stationary crushing plant comes to the fore; a line seated on a foundation runs at high capacity, maintenance costs stay low and, because vibration is damped better, wear part life is longer. The concrete batching side calls for a different logic: capacity, silo volume and automation are sized together, and in operations that build both lines on the same site the aggregate feed is planned jointly.
