8. Addisbuild international construction fair

General Makina took part in the 8th AddisBuild international construction, construction equipment and technologies fair held in Ethiopia on 13-16 October 2017. At the fair we introduced our products to construction companies from all over the world.

AddisBuild was held annually at that time and took place at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa; the organisation was run by Expotim International Fair Organizations.

In East Africa, demand comes for the whole line.

Most buyers ask about the entire plant from the feeder to the stockpile conveyor rather than a single machine. The reason is practical: matching machines from different manufacturers on site lengthens commissioning and blurs the boundaries of responsibility when a breakdown occurs.

The second recurring question is spare parts. We produce wear parts from austenitic manganese steel and high-chrome castings; on sites where logistics take a long time, deciding which items to stock locally becomes part of the installation plan.
