Installation of the New Mobile Washing and Screening Plant Completed

Installation of the new GNRM-YE 1650-4K Mobile Washing and Screening Plant has been completed. With four different product sizes in its stockpiling system, the GNRM-YE 1650-4K can produce sand and gravel at a capacity of 300 - 350 tonnes / hour.

Taking four separate fractions off the same line is made possible by the number of screen decks. Each deck holds back one size, and the material passing through is separated on the next deck; the stock conveyors then carry these four outputs to separate piles. Keeping the fractions from mixing during loading comes from that separation.

In the 300-350 tonne band, washing can become the bottleneck of the line.

The screw washer accepts material up to 0-50 mm and delivers 50-250 t/h; at higher tonnages several units are connected in parallel. The product is stockpiled in the 15-30% moisture band; with dewatering, 8-20% is possible.

In quarries with a low clay load the bucket washer remains more economical: it works with the same feed and capacity range, consumes less power and is simple to install.
