Our mobile washing and screening plant has left for the MANİSA site. The washing line is being set up to separate the clay and silt in the quarry material from the sand.

The outcome is decided by equipment selection, and the selection is decided by the clay in the quarry. On sites with a low clay load, a bucket washer is enough: the buckets on the rotating wheel lift out the clay, power consumption stays lower and installation remains simple.

In a quarry rich in clay, that is not enough.

The scrubbing action of a screw washer becomes necessary; soil bonded to the grain surface is stripped off mechanically. Without dewatering, moisture stays in the 15-30% range; with it, in the 8-20% range.

The washing stage runs at the very end of the line, but it is chosen at the very beginning; the crusher and screen configuration is set according to the size range of the material to be washed.
