General 01 Mobile Crushing & Screening Plant – VAN

The 2022 model fully mobile stone crushing and screening plant GNR 01 has been dispatched for our customer in Van, who chose General Makina quality. Plant capacity varies with the type of stone to be crushed and is in the range of 120 – 180 tonnes / hour.

Capacity varying with the stone is not a flaw in the catalogue but the nature of the work. In soft, low-abrasive material such as limestone the crusher works at the upper end of the band; in hard rock such as granite and basalt the same machine stays at a lower tonnage and wear parts are consumed quickly.

The size distribution of the feed material is the second variable. Coarse material coming from the quarry waits at the feeder, while very fine material loads the screen without leaving work for the crusher — in both cases the real tonnage of the line can stay below the catalogue value.

General 01 accepts feed material up to 700 mm with its GPS 1210 triple-pendulum impact crusher and combines the primary and secondary stages in a single body.

That is why we ask for the material analysis of the quarry before discussing tonnage at the quotation stage; a capacity figure given without knowing hardness and size distribution does not hold up on site.
