Our Stationary Crushing and Screening Line Goes Into Operation in Saudi Arabia

The stationary stone crushing and screening plant whose installation we finished on site in Saudi Arabia has a production capacity of 200 - 300 tonnes per hour. Made up of a PDK 02 primary impact crusher and a 4-deck vibrating screen, the plant was exported with the assurance of General Makina.

The piece of equipment that sets the product variety of the line is the four-deck screen. Because each deck creates a separate cut-off limit, five different size groups are obtained from a single run-of-mine feed.

In the Gulf countries there is strong demand for this variety.

With housing, highway and infrastructure projects carried out simultaneously, quarry operators do not want to depend on a single fraction. As the product range widens, the plant becomes able to sell material to different buyer groups at the same time.

The region's hot climate is a separate topic that has to be addressed in the design. As ambient temperature rises, hydraulic and lubrication systems are put under more strain, and cooling capacity is set with these conditions in mind. The same climate also brings dust control onto the agenda: in dry air, dust builds up at material transfer points, and a spraying or extraction system becomes an integral part of the line.
