Crushing Screening and Washing Plant Started Production in Urfa

General Makina Stone Crushing and Screening Plants continues to produce machines for Turkey and for the world. A mobile crushing, screening and washing plant has been erected at the Siverek site in Urfa and has entered service. We wish our customer every success with it.

The washing stage cleans the aggregate, but the other half of the job is moisture. The amount of water left in the sand directly affects stockpiling and transport; material that arrives wet at the site is both heavy and upsets the water calculation of the concrete mix.

That is why dewatering is added to the line.

Draining the material coming out of washing is completed before it goes to the stockyard, so water does not collect at the edges of the pile and the moisture variation during loading is reduced.

The reason washing comes to the fore in the Southeast is the material itself: with run-of-mine feed high in clay, the concrete specification is not met without washing, as the aggregate cannot bond sufficiently with the cement.
