About the installation

The plant was commissioned in the Dalaman district of Muğla, where limestone quarries have a long working life, so the line was set on a permanent foundation rather than a mobile chassis. Feeding is handled by the 40 m³ vibrating rock hopper, which buffers the tipping rhythm of the excavator and keeps the material flow to the primary stage steady.

Why limestone suits this configuration

Limestone has low abrasiveness, so impact crushing delivers a high reduction ratio in a single stage and the wear part replacement interval stays long. The tertiary crusher at the end of the line shapes the aggregate, while the by-pass screen removes the fines produced during crushing before they reach the product fractions. Each fraction is carried to its own stockpile by a separate conveyor, which prevents mixing during truck loading.

Capacity in practice

The 250 t/h figure applies to dry run-of-mine material of a suitable feed size with uninterrupted feeding. Moisture and clay content lower screening efficiency and therefore the achievable tonnage; where that is a risk, a washing stage is added ahead of the screens.
