General 800 Heads to Şanlıurfa: a Mobile Plant Built for Cubical Aggregate

Our plant production for projects at home and abroad continues. The latest shipment went to Şanlıurfa: the General 800 Stone Crushing and Screening Plant, equipped with current technology and built for uninterrupted crushing and screening at high capacity, is on its way.

The General 800 is a closed-circuit plant mounted on a single wheeled chassis. Crushing is handled by the PDK 1280 primary impact crusher; the plant works in a tonnage range of 80-150 t/h and has a 600 mm feed opening. On limestone and stone with low abrasiveness it reduces material strongly and keeps the cubical ratio of the product high.

Particle shape often decides which market an aggregate can go to.

Concrete and asphalt specifications set an upper limit on the share of flaky and elongated particles; material above that limit can only be used for fill work. Because an impact crusher breaks the particle through impact, it gives a more cubical product than crushers that break material by squeezing it.

On the documentation side the plant is ready as well: it is produced under the CE mark and ISO 9001, and a 1 year warranty is given, excluding wear parts.
