Stationary 300 t/h Granite Crushing Plant Built for Constanța Heads to Romania

Our crushing and screening plant, which will process 300 tonnes of granite per hour, is on its way to Romania. As we keep increasing the number of countries we export to, another plant has been added to our reference list. Built for one of the major road construction companies operating in Constanța, Romania, the plant was dispatched on 20 trucks.

Manufactured as a heavy-duty unit with up-to-date technology, this stationary plant was designed to deliver 7 different products at the same time while running at 300 tonnes per hour. To make transport and installation easier, the main equipment was built in a modular, skid-mounted structure.

Granite is known as one of the toughest materials to crush. Because it is both very hard and abrasive, spending on wear parts becomes the most decisive item among operating costs.

This narrows the choice of crusher type from the very start.

Since impact crushers wear out quickly in granite, machines that break the material by compression take the lead. Where grain shape also matters, a vertical shaft crusher is added as the final stage.

The reason granite is favoured in road building is this same hardness. The top wearing course of asphalt needs an aggregate that can withstand being polished by traffic over time, and softer stone cannot meet that requirement.
