Serbia-Bound 100-150 t/h Crushing Line Built Around a 100 Primary Impact Crusher

A stone crushing and screening plant destined for a site in Serbia has been loaded and sent on its way. The line is sized to produce between 100 and 150 tonnes per hour, and its first stage is handled by our newly designed 100 primary impact crusher. This crusher performs well on stone and mineral material of low to medium hardness that is not abrasive.

When deciding where an impact crusher belongs, the first property to look at is how abrasive the material is. In non-abrasive rock the impact elements can run for a long time before they need changing; in abrasive material the parts wear out quickly and operating cost moves to the centre of the calculation.

The deciding input for crusher type is the quarry itself.

In a quarry working limestone or dolomite, crushing by impact delivers a high reduction ratio together with a cubical particle shape. With abrasive rock such as granite or basalt, crushers that break the material by compression stay more cost-effective.

A rate of 100-150 tonnes per hour is an output level often found in Balkan quarries that supply regional demand around them. Big enough to keep more than one construction site supplied, this capacity can still be run comfortably by a single-shift crew.
