Fixed Stone Crushing and Screening Plant – Serbia

The stationary stone crushing and screening plant whose assembly has been completed in Novi Pazar, Serbia, has been put into operation. It has an average capacity of 120 - 180 tonnes per hour. The line consists of a 100 primary impact crusher, a 65 tertiary impact crusher and a vibrating screen; it delivers 4 different products.

Having a primary and a tertiary together makes it possible to obtain a wide product range without a secondary stage in between. The primary reduces the feed material, while the tertiary produces the fine fraction and the manufactured sand.

This arrangement suits medium-sized quarries.

Adding a stage would give more product varieties but would also raise investment and energy consumption. In the 120-180 tonne band, a two-crusher layout covers four fractions at a reasonable cost.

This scale is common in the Balkans: quarries generally serve regional demand, so the line is sized not according to an annual tonnage target but according to the continuous needs of the sites around it.
