TITAN 100 Mobile Concrete Batch Plant with Pre-Feeding System
The TITAN 100 mobile concrete batching plant with pre-feeding system shown through its full cycle, from aggregate loading to mortar discharge.
The TITAN 100 mobile concrete batching plant with pre-feeding system is shown in the recording through its entire cycle, from aggregate loading to mortar discharge. The camera is first positioned on the side where the pre-feeding hoppers are located.
In the images the loader is seen filling the hopper compartments with aggregate one by one, and the weighing feeders transferring the required amount from each compartment onto the collecting belt. The belt carries the material to the loading conveyor and from there to the holding hopper above the mixer. The binder arriving from the cement silo by screw, together with water, is mixed with the aggregate inside the mixer; the prepared mortar is discharged into the truck mixer by opening the gate.
Pre-feeding never leaves the mixer waiting empty.
What this arrangement gains is cycle time. In plants with classic loading, the loader manoeuvres again for every batch and the mixer stops in the meantime; the pre-feeding system, by keeping the aggregate of the next batch ready, removes the dead time between discharging and loading. The hourly output capacity is thus achieved at a level close to the catalogue figure.
The same feeding logic is also applied in stationary concrete batching plant installations preferred in projects with a long site life.
