General 03 - New Generation Crushing and Screening Plant

The General 03 is shown in the recording as a new generation crushing and screening plant, both in road position and in production position. The camera follows the moment the plant unfolds and settles onto the site from beginning to end.

The footage conveys step by step how, after the chassis is set on its support legs, the belt and screen groups open out hydraulically. It is noticeable that no crane is used during installation and that all movements are made from the control panel. After commissioning, at the discharge of the line working at a capacity of 250 tonnes, 4 separate fractions are poured into separate cones; the coarse blocks dropping into the 350 millimetre feed opening are reduced in a single pass.

The installation is completed without a crane and from a single control panel.

This detail directly shortens the preparation time on site. While on conventional lines foundation pouring and assembly take weeks, the folding chassis arrangement lets the plant be ready to produce on the day it is moved. For contractors who change quarries, this means the elimination of idle days.
