We attended the fair Algeria BATIMATEC

We took our place at the Algeria BATIMATEC Fair alongside many other companies, and met with our customers from abroad.

On the crushing and screening side, Algeria is a market that generates its own demand. The country's building materials industry — cement, brick, ceramics, gypsum, lime — sources its raw material from local quarries, and every one of those plants is fed with crushed and screened material.

Most conversations do not start with a single machine.

Once a buyer asks about the complete line, the discussion shifts away from technical data and towards the limits of responsibility: who supplies the feeder, where the screen comes from, and who answers the phone when something breaks down. That is usually the reason a single-source line is preferred.

The second recurring topic is wear parts. How quickly items such as jaw plates, blow bars and screen mesh reach the site is discussed more than the machine itself — because downtime goes straight into the cost per tonne.
