Batimatec Expo 2025 in Algeria Is Behind Us: The Topics Visitors Raised

BATIMATEC Expo 2025, the International Building and Construction Materials Fair held in Algeria, has come to a close for us. At our stand we met visitors and gave them a close look at the high-quality stone crushing, screening and washing plants we manufacture, together with our concrete batching plants.

The questions put to us over the fair days can be grouped under two main headings. The first group came from operators thinking of enlarging the line they already have: should a second crusher be placed after the existing primary stage, or would it be wiser to renew the line from start to finish?

The second group was about changing material.

When production moves to a different face in the quarry, the hardness of the rock changes as well and the same line can no longer reach its earlier tonnage. In such a case the right step is usually not to replace the crusher; revisiting the settings and the choice of wear parts is often enough.

Visitors interested in concrete batching plants mostly asked how the aggregate feed should be adapted to the plant. When the capacities of the crushing line and the batching plant do not match, one of the two installations is constantly forced to wait for the other.
