We Are Going to The Big 5 Construct Ethiopia Exhibition

We are taking part in The Big 5 Construct Ethiopia construction, construction machinery and infrastructure fair, to be held in Ethiopia on 18, 19 and 20 May 2023. The event will take place at the Addis Ababa Millennium Hall Conference Centre.

The line we are bringing to our stand is the configuration most often asked about in East Africa: a crushing and screening plant that needs no foundation on site, travels in one piece and generates its own power.

The reason for this preference is infrastructure.

In quarries where no grid line has been run, supplying the power unit as part of the plant instead of treating a generator as a separate investment item shortens the time to first production. Not having to wait for a foundation to be poured amounts to the same thing.

At the fair we also present the concrete batching side; a mobile batching plant can be moved once a project ends, which makes it preferred for time-limited infrastructure work such as that in Ethiopia. Operations planning a permanent installation look at the stationary batching plant instead.
