KyrgyzComex Fair

We continue meeting our customers at the 8th KyrgyzComex International Road Construction, Special Equipment and Components Trade Fair.

The fair is held in Bishkek and organised by BiExpo. Its scope is clear from the name: road and housing construction, asphalt production and quarry operation, earthmoving and drilling machinery, spare parts and components.

Road construction is the line of work that generates aggregate demand most directly.

A road project calls for different fractions in the sub-base, the base and the wearing course; getting all of them from a single line depends on the number of screen decks. Once asphalt production enters the picture, grain shape becomes decisive, because the proportion of flaky and elongated particles is capped in the mix specification.

In geographies with long distances such as Kyrgyzstan, the proximity of the quarry to the site also enters the calculation; on some projects transport cost makes a mobile line preferable to a stationary plant.
