KyrgyzComex 2023: Our Meetings With the Road Construction Sector Continue in Bishkek

This time our customer meetings continue at the 8th KyrgyzComex International Specialised Fair for Road Construction, Special Equipment and Components.

Staged in Bishkek, the fair is organised by BiExpo. As its name suggests, its scope is broad: road and housing construction, asphalt production, quarrying, earthmoving and drilling machinery, plus spare parts and components, all under one roof.

Road building is the sector that creates aggregate demand most directly.

A road project needs separate fractions for the sub-base, the base and the wearing course, and whether they can all come from a single line depends on how many decks the screen has. When asphalt production comes into play, grain shape becomes decisive, since mix specifications set an upper limit on flaky and elongated particles.

In countries with long distances, such as Kyrgyzstan, how close the quarry is to the site also enters the equation. On some projects, transport costs make a mobile line more attractive than a stationary plant.
