Trench Spoil Screened on Site: ME 2060-3 Mobile Screen for Denizli Water Works

Production is finished on the ME 2060-3 mobile screening plant ordered through the State Supply Office on behalf of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Water Works, and the plant is now on the road. Thanks to its three-deck 2060 screen adapted to a mobile chassis, it can process 200-250 tonnes of material per hour.

What a municipal water authority expects from a screening plant is not what an aggregate quarry expects. The aim here is to grade the soil and stone dug out of trench and water main excavations so that it can be used again as fill.

The first benefit of this approach is fewer truck journeys.

When excavated material is screened on site and the useful fractions are separated, there is less need to haul fill in from elsewhere. Whatever remains is used on the job instead of being taken to a tip.

A three-deck screen easily provides the separation this work needs: oversize stones are set aside, medium material suitable for fill is recovered, and the fine portion is collected in a separate pile. Because it sits on a mobile chassis, the plant can follow the excavation work from one site to the next as the network grows.
