Fixed Sand Washing and Screening Plant in Serbia

The installation in Serbia of the stationary washing and screening plant with a capacity of 250 - 300 Tonnes / Hour, whose transport we reported on earlier, has been completed. We wish our customer good fortune and abundant earnings.

Finishing the installation does not mean the line is running at its target tonnage. On washing lines, commissioning begins with water: the pond is filled, the pump flow is set, then the feed is opened gradually and the cleanliness of the discharged material is measured.

The clay in the quarry determines the choice of unit.

On sites with a low clay load a bucket washer is sufficient; the buckets on the rotating wheel remove the clay, it consumes less power and its assembly stays simple. With material of high clay content, the spiral scrubbing of a screw washer becomes necessary.

Both units accept material up to 0-50 mm and deliver 50-250 tph; that is why more than one unit is connected in parallel on a line in the 250-300 tonne band.
