2017: Higher Output in Crushing and Screening Plant Manufacturing, With Planning in Focus

2017 was a year in which our crushing and screening plant manufacturing gained momentum. Shipping crushers to many countries around the world as well as across Türkiye, General Makina kept its priority on quality production and on meeting delivery dates during this period.

With plants of this kind, output capacity depends less on the pace of the workshop line than on how accurate the engineering is. Since every line is dimensioned separately for the site where it will be installed, the usual logic of series production does not hold here.

As scale increases, the real work shifts to planning.

Plants bound for different countries in the same months are built side by side. Because crusher type, screen design and conveyor layout change from project to project, the production schedule is prepared separately for each order.

Commissioning after delivery sits inside the same plan. If the erection team and the commissioning programme are not ready when the line arrives on site, the investment has to wait before it can start producing.
