22nd BATIMATEC Algeria: Presenting Our Stone Crushing Plants to North Africa

We took part with our stone crushing and screening plants in Algeria's BATIMATEC fair, which opened its doors for the 22nd time this year. Our goal at the fair was threefold: to show machines built with the latest technology, to widen our customer network and to strengthen our presence on the African continent.

For crushing and screening plants, North Africa is a market with few swings. Ongoing infrastructure and housing investment keeps demand for aggregate alive. In Algeria a significant share of this demand comes from the building materials industry; the raw material of cement, brick and lime factories is crushed material as well.

Another factor that shapes buying decisions on the continent is service.

Visitors ask just as much about how many days a part will take to reach the site after a breakdown as they do about the machine itself. We manufacture our wear parts from austenitic manganese steel and high-chrome castings, which is why fast supply from stock and delivery to the job site become a natural part of the quotation we give.

The fair is organised jointly by Batimatec Expo, the SAFEX group and Algeria Exhibitions, and takes place at the Palais des Expositions in the city of Algiers.
