General 01 for Bitlis: Onboard Feeder and Screen in a 120-180 t/h Closed Circuit

The General 01 mobile crushing plant, whose new owner will operate it in Bitlis, has been dispatched to produce in the 120-180 t/h range. We use turbo-rotor crushers in our closed-circuit crushing and screening plants, and on the General 01 the feeder and the screening system sit directly on the machine.

Having the feeder and screen on the same body cuts down the amount of equipment that has to be erected on site. With a line delivered piece by piece, you have to set the feeder in place, prepare a separate foundation for the screen and link the two with a conveyor. A single-chassis layout makes all of that unnecessary.

Thanks to its GPS 1210 triple-pendulum impact crusher, General 01 combines primary and secondary crushing in one machine, and its feed opening accepts lumps of 700 mm.

The closed circuit, in turn, lets the line keep itself in balance.

Pieces too large to pass the screen are carried back to the crusher by conveyor, and material outside the required fraction is re-crushed before it ever reaches a stockpile. In regions such as Bitlis, where quarry roads are narrow, this arrangement also lowers the number of vehicles coming in and out of the site.
