AstanaBuild 2021: Face to Face With Customers in Kazakhstan

In 2021 the international AstanaBuild fair in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, gave us the chance to meet our valued customers in person. We sincerely thank all of you for the interest you showed in our stand.

Organised by Iteca, AstanaBuild has opened its doors every year since 1999 at the EXPO International Exhibition Centre in Astana. The fair covers a broad field, from building materials and equipment through to road construction.

The first factor shaping aggregate needs in Kazakhstan is distance.

Sparse settlement is spread over a huge territory, and hauling material far pushes costs up fast. Crushing and screening lines are therefore set up as close as possible to where the material will be used. As a result, medium-capacity plants that can be relocated attract the most attention.

The second factor is climate. In regions with long, harsh winters the working season stays short, so keeping the line producing without a break in the months it can operate is essential for hitting the yearly tonnage target.
