8th Sencon Construction Fair - SENEGAL

We are meeting our customers at stand no. 5G21 at the 8th SENCON International Building and Construction Fair in Dakar, Senegal, which opened on 23 February and runs until the 25th.

Over a three-day fair the meetings follow a certain order: introductions on the first day, technical comparison on the second, price and delivery schedule on the third. That is why the technical team is scheduled to be at the stand for the last two days.

In West Africa the conversation turns early to power.

In quarries with no grid connection, supplying the power unit as part of the line rather than buying a generator as a separate item shortens the gap between arrival on site and first production.

The second subject is ground conditions: because lines carried on a single chassis need no concrete foundation, they fit into the narrow installation window before the rainy season. Operators with long-life quarries, on the other hand, look towards the stationary plant side.
