The 110 crusher, with a capacity of 200~350 t/h, gives different results on hard stone. The capacities of the 110 crushing plant on hard stone are 250-300 tonnes/hour on limestone and 200-230 tonnes/hour on basalt.

The difference comes from the crushing resistance of the rock. Because limestone is reduced with less energy, material passing through the same opening is processed faster; on basalt every pass demands more power.

Hardness is not the only factor that determines capacity.

The size distribution of the feed material, its moisture content and the feeding arrangement all enter the result. When the feeder runs irregularly, the crusher fills and empties in turn and the average throughput falls below the catalogue figure.

That is why, when capacity is calculated, the feeder, the screen area and the conveyor throughput are sized together with the crusher selection; the real output of the line is set by its slowest stage.
