GNR DMK Series Secondary Impact Crusher

The GNR DMK series secondary impact crusher takes primary product and, with a smaller inlet and close apron setting, breaks it by impact into cubical, well-graded secondary aggregate. On limestone and low-to-medium abrasive lines it delivers high reduction and shape quality.

Working principle
Same impact principle as the primary HSI, but with a smaller inlet and breaker plates closer to the rotor, giving finer, cubical product. Stage: secondary/tertiary.
Material and application
Suitable: limestone, dolomite, soft-to-medium rock, asphalt/C&D recycling — for cubical aggregate and chippings. Not suitable: high-silica granite/basalt/gravel, where a secondary cone is preferred. It can produce slightly flakier grains than a VSI; an added VSI stage raises cubicity.
Reduction and wear (TCO)
Typical reduction is ~10:1. Wear parts are the blow bars and apron liners: high-chrome for clean abrasion; manganese/martensitic for metal-bearing recycling; ceramic-MMC for long life. As secondary feed is smaller, part life is more predictable than in a primary HSI, and the correct alloy preserves the cost-per-tonne advantage.
The DMK is the secondary machine of a complete limestone plant covering crushing, screening, washing and concrete batching, supplied from a single source.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a secondary impact crusher do?
It turns primary product into cubical, well-graded secondary aggregate.
What is the reduction ratio?
Typically ~10:1.
DMK or a secondary cone?
DMK for limestone/low-abrasive; cone for granite/basalt/gravel.
What is the maximum feed size?
800 mm across our DMK series.
