Mobile Tertiary Crusher — Sand Making Machine (VSI)

The Mobile Tertiary Crusher (Sand Making Machine) is a single-chassis tertiary unit designed to turn the oversize/unused product of mobile crushing plants into crushed sand. It accepts 0-200 mm feed, delivers 0-10 mm sand and works at 60-250 t/h, towed by one truck.
Working principle and distinguishing feature
Its distinguishing feature is sand making: by vertical-shaft impact (VSI) the material is accelerated to high speed and thrown against anvil or rock (rock-on-rock). The target is not reduction but cubicity and crushed sand. A belt-conveyor feeder that prevents sticking is standard. It converts plant oversize into a revenue item.

Material and application
On abrasive, high-quartz material (river gravel, granite, basalt) rock-on-rock VSI is the correct sand maker; the autogenous bed minimises metal wear. It lowers the Flakiness Index for ASTM C33 / concrete-asphalt sand. VSI reduction is low (~1:1-4:1); the machine is shaping- and sand-oriented. If moisture/clay is high, sand washing plus dewatering completes it (moisture 15-30% → 8-20%).

Frequently Asked Questions
What does it produce?
Crushed sand (M-sand) at 0-10 mm.
What does it feed on?
The oversize/unused coarse material from the plant.
What is the working principle?
Vertical-shaft impact (VSI), rock-on-rock shaping.
Which rock does it work on?
Abrasive and quartz-rich rock too; the autogenous bed reduces wear.
What if I need washed sand?
Add a sand washing plus dewatering line to bring moisture to 8-20%.
