The GNR YM1650 is the most-preferred model in the range, a mobile wash-and-screen plant delivering 120-180 tph. Thanks to a wide washing screen and a screw, it turns out clean sand of several sizes and types in a single pass. All the washing-and-screening kit is united on a 21,000 kg single mobile chassis, with a feed window of 0-100 mm.

Wide deck, high tonnage

The YM1650 runs the same wash logic as its sibling YM1240 but on a bigger screen and a higher flow, delivering clean sand without choking even at high tonnage:

  • Washing screen: water and vibration act together; clay and silt are scraped off the surface and shed.
  • Screw: it scrubs the fine sand, overflows the silt-laden water and empties out clean sand.
  • Stockpiling: multi-size clean sand is spread by by-product belts across separate stockpiles.

Sand recovery and moisture

Screw-discharge moisture usually sits at 15-30%. The full sand-recovery chain runs like this: screw → hydrocyclone (d50 ~45-150 µm, target ~150 µm in aggregate) → dewatering screen; moisture thus falls to 8-20%, yielding a storable sand that holds a steady mortar/concrete batch. The clay burden is read from an SE (Sand Equivalent) or MBV (Methylene Blue Value) test.

Why the YM1650 is the flagship

YM is washing (screw + washing screen), ME is dry (no washing). Both the YM1240 and the YM1650 wash; capacity and size set them apart: the YM1650 offers a wider screen and 120-180 tph, a longer 13.6 m chassis (YM1240: 10.8 m) and 21 t of weight (YM1240: 18 t). That power-to-size balance is exactly why it sells most. For dry, clean feed the matching machine is instead the GNR ME1650.
