The General 640 is the compact entry point of the range: a tow-behind, closed-circuit wheeled crushing and screening plant that pairs a jaw with an impactor at 40-70 tph. It swallows 500 mm feed on a single truckload of equipment and keeps a calm, dependable pace on the hardest abrasive stone — the smallest, most affordable member of the family.

Working principle

• Feeding: vibrating-feeder rock hopper with a by-pass grizzly.
• Primary: GPJ 60 jaw crusher reduces oversize rock in the first stage.
• Secondary: GNR 50 impact crusher sizes and cubicises the product.
• Screening: a 1200×4000 mm triple-deck vibrating screen splits the material into fractions.
• Closed circuit: a return conveyor recirculates oversize until the target size is reached.

Technical data

Screen meshes and the final gradation are tailored to each job and the stone being fed.

Where it is used

Small and mid-size quarries, roadworks and general construction are its home ground, and it copes well with tough, grinding minerals. Running at a modest rate, it is kind to wear parts. Everything folds onto hydraulic legs, so the unit can be lifted from one job and dropped onto the next without fuss.
