GNR ME1650 — Mobile (Dry) Screening Plant

The GNR ME1650 is a mobile sand screening plant rated at 120-180 tph that takes 0-100 mm run-of-mine. Its kit is limited to a sand hopper, a vibrating screen and stockpile belts, charged by loader bucket or fed by belt from an existing crushing-and-screening line. There is no washing unit on board — the plant does dry screening only. It operates on mains or generator power atop an 18,000 kg one-piece mobile chassis.

Working principle

Run-of-mine tipped into the hopper travels up the main belt onto the vibrating screen. Layering starts across the deck: fines settle to the base of the bed and drop through the aperture while oversize rides on top and spills off the end. Each fraction leaves on its own stockpile belt to a separate heap.

• Feeding: the hopper is filled by loader or belt.
• Screening: the vibrating screen sorts the feed into fractions (90-95% commercial efficiency).
• Stockpiling: stockpile belts move each product to its own heap.

Technical specifications

Mesh apertures and output gradation are pinned down at ordering to suit the material to be processed.

Telling ME (dry) from YM (washing)

This is where the buying decision turns: the ME series runs dry (no washing); the YM series carries a washing screen and a screw. On clean, dry sand-and-gravel the ME1650 is the most economical pick. Where feed is clayey or wet the deck blinds/pegs and moisture stays put; there the YM1650 in the same 120-180 tph band is required. Anyone chasing more dry throughput gets the ME2060 (200-350 tph).

Applications and material

The ME1650 serves riverbeds, sand-and-gravel quarries and aggregate feed to concrete batching plants. Clipped by belt onto an existing crusher line, it handles pre- or post-screening. Its 18-tonne one-piece build cuts haulage and speeds erection.
