Conveyor Belt Systems
Conveyor belt systems toured at different points of the plant: idlers, drive drum, take-up, sealing rubbers and belt scrapers.
In this recording the camera tours the conveyor belt systems one by one at different points of the plant. While the belts run loaded, the carrying idlers, the drive drum and the take-up arrangement are filmed separately.
In the images the transfer chute where the belt receives material, the edge sealing rubbers and the cleaning scraper on the return side are noticeable. The drip trays under the belt and the leg connections can also be seen throughout the recording.
These parts work quietly, but they are critical.
When the scraper does not do its job, the residual material on the return side sticks to the idlers, the belt runs off and the line stops unplanned. The scraper and take-up settings seen in the video are arranged precisely to prevent such stoppages; when the belt alignment is correct, the conveying capacity also stays stable.
The recording visually demonstrates that in a crushing and screening plant the conveying line is as decisive as the crushers.
