AddisBuild Ethiopia: Our Mobile and Stationary Plants Draw Visitors

We bring the knowledge and manufacturing strength built up over many years in stone crushing to Africa through the mobile and stationary plants we deliver to the continent. At the 8th ADDISBUILD fair in Ethiopia we presented our machines to visitors and met our customers face to face.

Energy tops the list in conversations about African sites. Because our mobile plants come with their own power unit, production can start even in quarries the electricity network does not reach. The generator is delivered as part of the line, so it is no longer a separate investment item the operator has to plan for.

The second common question is how long it takes to put the plant into service.

A line carried on a single chassis does not need a concrete foundation; when it reaches the site, the connections are made and it is started up. Where a quarry will be worked in the same place for many years, a stationary crushing and screening plant offers higher capacity and lower maintenance spending. The expected life of the site decides which option fits.

As our meetings in Ethiopia showed once again, two pieces of information are enough to prepare a plant configuration: the type of material in the quarry and the targeted hourly output.
