We share our experience and capability in stone crushing with Africa by producing mobile and stationary plants. General Makina presented its machines and met its customers at the 8th ADDISBUILD fair in Ethiopia.

The subject discussed most on African sites is power. Because our mobile plants carry their own power unit, production can start even in quarries with no grid connection; the generator arrives as part of the line rather than as a separate investment item.

The second subject is installation time.

A line carried on a single chassis needs no concrete foundation; as soon as it reaches the site the connections are made and it is commissioned. For operators whose quarry will stay in the same place for years, a stationary crushing plant works with higher capacity and lower maintenance cost; the choice follows the expected life of the site.

As in the meetings held in Ethiopia, two pieces of information are enough to draw up a configuration: the material in the quarry and the hourly tonnage targeted.
