Shipping a 250 t/h Basalt Crushing and Screening Plant to Muğla

Transport of our crushing and screening plant, which will be erected on a site in Muğla, is still under way. The line was engineered to crush 250 tonnes of basalt per hour. All equipment in the plant has been built to high quality standards and is delivered with a 1-year warranty.

For a line of this size, erection really begins on the road. The crusher body, the screen and the conveyors are loaded onto different vehicles; since the part that reaches the site first decides how assembly will proceed, the loading arrangement is prepared according to the erection programme.

Where basalt is concerned, the design changes from the very first step.

As it is a highly abrasive material, the crusher type, the liner thicknesses and the surfaces exposed to wear are all chosen with that in mind. In limestone the same tonnage can be handled by a lighter line, whereas basalt calls for machines with heavier bodies.

In regions such as Muğla, where a quarry is worked for many years, this weight is not seen as a drawback; a line fixed to its foundation is positioned to keep producing at the same spot for years.
