A Special Screw Washer Designed for High Washing Speed Is Ready for Palestine

We have designed and manufactured a new special screw washing system to be sent to Palestine. Running smoothly in a mobile screening and washing plant, the system was developed to provide a high washing speed, to separate the sand inside the screw from the water and carry it to the upper outlet, and to discharge the muddy water that gathers in the lower section.

The screw actually separates material in two directions. As the spiral turns, sand climbs upwards while water laden with clay and silt flows downwards; during this friction, soil stuck to the surface of the grains is also cleaned off mechanically.

How well the job has been done is shown by the moisture content at the outlet.

In a standard screw washer the moisture of the sand coming out stays between 15-30%; when a dewatering unit is added to the line, this value falls to 8-20%. The drier the sand comes out, the less time it has to be kept waiting in the stockpile area.

Body size is what determines capacity. The single GNR 500 body measures 500×5000 mm with 4 kW of power; the GNR 800 body is 800×8000 mm and 11 kW; and the GNR 1000 draws 22 kW. This product family produces 50-250 t/h and accepts material up to 0-50 mm.
