Mobile Stone Crushing Screening Plant continues work in snow-winter

The General 02 mobile stone crushing and screening plant keeps crushing stone in Erzurum with a capacity of 200-250 tonnes per hour. The line runs in closed circuit.

What stops in winter is not the plant but the unprepared site. At freezing temperatures hydraulic fluid thickens, lubrication becomes harder and steel turns brittle; all of these are predictable and preventable items.

Preparation comes down to three headings.

Hydraulic and lubrication choices suited to winter conditions, a heated cabin and control panel, and an arrangement that prevents freezing at transfer points. Once these are in place, the working season of the line becomes noticeably longer.

In regions such as Erzurum, where the season is short, that extension goes straight into the annual tonnage: every additional week of operation shortens the payback period of the investment. The maintenance calendar is built around the same window: wear part replacement and major servicing are moved to the winter months when production stops. That way the line does not suffer unplanned downtime during the season.
