Cubical Aggregate From River Gravel: GNR MVSI 900 Mobile VSI Crushing and Screening Plant in Operation

We have manufactured, shipped and installed the GNR MVSI 900, a mobile vertical shaft crushing and screening plant that performs particularly well on river material, for our customer in Türkiye. The feed hopper, vertical shaft crusher and vibrating screen are combined on a single mobile chassis, and the plant's capacity is approximately 120 – 180 tons per hour.

River material is a very suitable feed for a vertical shaft crusher. Gravel rounded by water lacks the fractured faces required by concrete and asphalt specifications; the VSI stage breaks these particles with impact energy and gives them a cubical form.
The aim here is not to reduce size but to give each particle fractured faces.
The GNR-MVSI 900 accepts pieces up to 50 mm and delivers a 0-20 mm product. Because it carries its own 850 kVA generator unit, it can also work comfortably in riverbeds with no electrical infrastructure. Its dimensions comply with domestic and international road transport standards, so it can be moved to the desired site without difficulty.
On fixed lines the same task is handled by the GNR series vertical shaft crusher: 45–210 t/h capacity, 700–900 mm rotor, maximum 55 mm feed and 90–400 kW of power.
