General 02 Mobile Crushing and Screening Plant on Its Way to a Balıkesir Limestone Quarry

Our automated mobile crushing plant GNR 02, which can crush and screen limestone at between 250 and 300 tonnes per hour, has been loaded and sent on its way for delivery to our customer in Balıkesir. We wish our customer every success with the new plant.

The key feature that makes this tonnage possible is the width of the crusher's feed opening. General 02 takes run-of-mine material up to 1000 mm, the widest opening in the family. Large blocks from the quarry go straight into the crusher without separate pre-crushing, so the line does not jam at the feed point.

The screen on the plant measures 2000×5000 mm and has four decks. The number of decks determines how many different fractions the material can be split into on a single pass; with four decks, most of the fractions expected from a limestone line can be taken from one screen.

Limestone is a material that handles this tonnage without strain.

Because its abrasiveness is low, the GPS 1413 primary impact crusher runs easily and blow bar life is longer compared with lines processing hard rock. The plant's 660 kVA power unit also lets the line operate without needing the electricity grid.
