8. Sencon Construction Fair Participation

We are in Dakar, Senegal for the 8th SENCON International Construction Fair between February 23 and 25. Everyone is welcome at our stand no 5G21.

The official name of SENCON is Salon International du Bâtiment et de la Construction en Afrique de l'Ouest. It is organised by the Hage Group and is held every year at the Centre des Expositions de Diamniadio in the Dakar region; its scope covers building materials, construction machinery and renewable energy.

In West Africa the supply chain is not a short one.

Because transport from the port to the site takes a long time, buyers ask about the spare-parts plan as much as about the plant itself. Which items will be stocked on site becomes an inseparable part of the installation plan in this geography.

The February date is also a choice: the months outside the rainy season in the region are favourable for site installation, so the assembly calendar for post-fair orders is planned around that window.
